Accounts administrator / Credit controller

An opportunity as a credit controller has become available within our established medical accounts bureau. The successful candidate will be joining a very effective and dynamic team.

We are looking for a multitasker with excellent communication skills and an upbeat attitude who is generally helpful and has a positive presence in the workplace.

Key administrative duties will include:

  • Age Analysis.
  • Recovering funds from medical aids and patients.
  • Resolving queries – Medical aid, patients and doctors queries.
  • Weekly and monthly balancing of books. Daily tasks will include maintaining debtor’s books in ALL respects, such as allocating payments to accounts.

The Successful candidate will require matric. Experience working with doctor’s medical accounts is an absolute MUST.

Further skills required are:

  • Computer Literate – Microsoft Office, Medical program/ELIXIR knowledge would be beneficial.
  • Medical accounting principles: Experience dealing with specialist doctors’ accounts and large volume accounts would be beneficial.
  • Excellent telephone etiquette.
  • Excellent customer service.
  • Meticulous administration skills.
  • Driven and able to work independently.
  • Working under pressure is a MUST.
